St. Gregory’s Parish News Chrism Mass 2017 The Chrism Mass will be held this year on Thursday, April 6th at 7:00 p.m.at St. Jerome Church, 26 Carmel Rd., Sault Ste. Marie. This is truly a diocesan celebration. We would hope that deacons, members of the Diocesan Order of Service, religious women and men and the people from all four sectors would feel this solidarity within our own Church by celebrating with the Bishop and the priests of our Diocese. All are invited to participate in this bilingual Diocesan celebration. A reception will follow in St. Jerome Parish Hall. COLLECTION FOR THE HOLY LAND There are two pertinent links regarding the Collection for the Holy Land on April 14, 2017. The first link brings you to the Commissariat for the Holy Land in Canada providing insightful information. http://commissariat.ca/ The second link is a video produced by the Diocese in which Bishop Damphousse and Msgr Jean-Paul Jolicoeur explain the reason for the Collection for the Holy Land. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjbl-vykMBc
Thank you to the family of “Peter Barbon” who added “St. Gregory’s Church” among other charitable institutions for memorial donations. Your thoughtfulness and financial support to our parish is greatly appreciated. These donations will be used towards our “Building Fund/Memorial Fund”. I invite all parishioners to consider “St. Gregory’s Church” when choosing a charitable institution for memorial donations to honour a loved one who has passed. Operational costs and church upkeep rely solely on the contributions and generosity of its people. This form of financial support and heartfelt gesture would truly bless and enrich the life of St. Gregory’s Church. Your brother in Christ, Father Alex
We offer our condolences to the family of
