Dear parents/guardians, I am so excited to have started 3-D printing with the students. We are all excited about what they will be creating. K & 1 have each already created a very special plaque. Students are using “Tinkercad” as the program for C.A.D. (computer aided design) development. Grades 2-5 have created accounts with an approval code that belongs to me. I have full control of their account and, in order for them to have access to their account, I must give them a new code each week. Some students have expressed a desire to practice and explore Tinkercad on their own. I have recommended to them that they speak to you about creating their own personal account at home. Being under the age of 13, outside of the school environment, they must have your approval. Tinkercad requires a parent/ adult e-mail address. The owner of that e-mail will get a request to approve the Tinkercad account. Tinkercad can be found at: www.tinkercad.com If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know. Sincerely,
