GRAMMAR REVIEW: Topic: Adverbs of Frequency with Be Verbs (5-6 minutes) (Be 動詞とともに用いられる頻度の副詞)
Adverbs of Frequency are adverbs that states how often an action happens. Adverbs of frequency can be placed in different positions in a sentence. It could either be placed before the main verb or after the main verb. (頻度の副詞は、ある行動がどれぐらい頻繁に起こるかを示す副詞です。頻度の副詞は 文の中の様々な位置に置かれます。本動詞の前にも、後にも置かれる可能性がありま す。) e.g. I always eat out during the weekend. (私は週末になるといつも外食します。) I seldom order meat, I usually order vegetables. (私はめったに肉を注文しません。私はたいてい野菜を注文します。) She is always travelling abroad. (彼女はいつも海外旅行をしています。) She was never a picky eater. (彼女は全く好き嫌いがありません。)
Remember: If the verb in the sentence is a Be verb, the adverb of frequency comes after the Be verb. (文中の動詞が Be 動詞の場合、頻度の副詞は Be 動詞の後に置かれます。)
