Key Duties will include: Customer service standards o o
You will be responsible you and your team’s consistent delivery of exceptional guest experience synonymous with the Hastings’ brand. You will be responsible the Restaurants cleanliness and excellent presentation of product served.
Stock and Inventory Management o o o
You will be responsible for stock control and inventory management. You will be responsible for controlling costs and optimising profits whist maintaining exceptional standards of service and presentation. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of stores, fixtures, and equipment.
People Management o o
You will be responsible for proactive scheduling of team members and staff costs in line with revenue forecasting. You will be responsible for team members attendance, performance management, conduct and training and development supported by HR.
Cash Handling o o o o
You will be responsible for handling cash and end of day checking in line with Hastings policy and procedure. You will be responsible for float count and float audit as per Hastings policy and procedure. Provide necessary reports when requested. You will be responsible for all the room service and credit card dockets and follow the relevant procedure. You will report to senior management on any discrepancies with float count or any cash handling procedure.
Generic Duties o o o o
You will report to the General Manager or designated manager To ensure an effective and safe working environment is maintained in compliance with appropriate legislation, such as Licensing Laws, Health & Safety, and other statutory requirements. You will promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all team members are valued and treated with respect and dignity. Any other duty as directed by the General Manager or nominated designated manager.

A Standards driven self-starter and completer, who inspires your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience synonymous with the Hastings’ brand.

Have strong commercial acumen; experienced in managing allocated budgets, revenue forecasts, cost control and profit delivery.

Be educated to 3rd level standard* with 3 years or more previous management experience within a Restaurant, and be able to demonstrate strong people management and leadership capabilities.

*Candidates who are not educated to 3rd level standard must have 5 years previous management experience within a Restaurant, and be able to demonstrate strong people management and leadership capabilities.
