Main purpose of job
To develop and take responsibility for the company’s HR functions. Align processes with the organisation’s overall strategic goals, both for the operation and head office. To provide resource support in Human Resources and administration service to all staff.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Employee Relations • • • •
Provide coaching and support to line managers on employee relation issues across the whole organisation Maintain an up to date employment law knowledge and provide expert advice as required, liaising with our third party legal experts where needed Brief senior management team and line managers as appropriate Ensure current employment policies are clearly communicated to all employees and routinely maintained and updated
Recruitment and Retention • • •
Overall responsibility for sourcing candidates at all levels across the organisation, providing support and guidance to line managers Provide coaching to line managers involved in the recruitment and selection process Manage relationships with and negotiate better fees with external agencies

Take responsibility for the induction programme across the organisation, using all available resources Carry out exit interviews, analyse information and trend and make recommendations to the senior management team, as appropriate Provide monthly details on leavers and joiners to senior management team
Performance Management • • •
Develop and implement the appraisal system for Cult Beauty Limited Assist senior management team and line managers in the process of change and advise on HR implications Develop and run training sessions as identified
HR Administration • • •
Manage the electronic and paper based personal files for all staff, in accordance to Data Protection Ensure all job profiles and job information packs are up to date, and regularly reviewed with line managers Prepare, review and implement HR policies, procedures and practices
Learning & Development • • •
Discuss individual and group training sessions with line managers Coordinate the outsourcing of appropriate training Coordinate internal training programmes, leading on where necessary
Pay & Reward • • •
Meet on an annual basis to discuss the annual pay review with the chief executives and the heads of departments Prepare communication to all staff with chief executive and head of operations Review pay scales across departments on an annual basis, making use of all available resources

Nature and scope of the job The HR Manager is part of the senior management group. This is a stand-alone role requiring a very hands-on approach and willingness to undertake the day-to-day activities as well as managing projects such as running induction workshops and the appraisal process. The HR manager will take ownership of the key strategic roadmap regarding people, rewards and policies, aligning the ethos of the company with its staff and goals.

CIPD qualified, studying or equivalent Recruitment, selection and retention Employee relations, including up-to-date employment law knowledge and experience of handling disciplinary cases Training delivery
