Types of Events •
There are two types of charity events you can create in Nexus • Charity fair •
•
Charities can attend agency events and promote their organization through informational booths and tables Speaking event • Charities can attend agency events and give a speech on behalf of their organization
1. Go to the MY TOOLS tab A. Click on Campaign ManagerCoordinator Tools, then select Events.
2. Create a new event
A. Click on the blue button that says CREATE A NEW EVENT
3. Click SHOW to find your reporting unit
A. Click SHOW
4. Select your reporting unit
A. Under SELECT A FEDERAL AGENCY click the dot next to your specific reporting unit
5. All fields must be filled out completely • •
Don’t forget to select your Loaned Executive If you do not know who your Loaned Executive is, call the CFCNCA Help Desk at (202)465-7230
6. Select charities to attend your event A. You can select charities at random
B. Or you can select specific charities for your event

8. How to view more charity options
A. To load more search results, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the button that says Click here to load more results
9. Add specific charities to your request
A. To add a charity to your event, enter the charity’s 5 digit code, then click on the blue ENTER button
10. Fill out specific charity information and requirements
A. Enter any special instructions, security procedures, and other details under, OTHER EVENT NOTES
B. Click on the ENTER EVENT FORM button to submit event You will receive an email with your event ID number and details of your event
11. You have now successfully created an event
A. Click CLOSE THIS MESSAGE BOX to return to your account
12. Review your event request
A. Click on the blue button that says VIEW EXISTING EVENTS
13. Click VIEW to see details about your event
A. Click VIEW
14. You can see details for the event and the event status
A. Please note that only confirmed charities will show below and you will receive an email when the event has been approved.
