Enrolments: We have enrolled 32 new
students for the start of 2016 and we are delighted to welcome the children and their whanau to Totara Grove School. Unfortunately we had to refuse enrolment to numerous families because of the enrolment zone that has been introduced by the Ministry of Education. In order to help us plan ahead, will you please let us know of any in-zone preschoolers who will be starting this year. We encourage parents to enrol children well ahead of time so that before-school visits can be organised.
I Have a Dream: The I Have a Dream project is ready to start. Staff have been recruited and they were welcomed to our school at last week’s powhiri. Each year level from Year 3 up has a “navigator” assigned. Once these navigators have settled into their roles we can expect to see them actively involved in school activities.
