SPOKE texting tool - Instructions Here are the Instructions to get started: 1. Sign in here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdV7qp_wggiV9xnyIEtzUgFbuzHWVnw4TXi 2cw2FnIS1vOjXA/viewform 2. Make an account with Spoke here: https://spoke-gu.herokuapp.com/c2b749f1-6157-4bf8-be01-e752e27b5ae5/join 3. Once you’ve logged in, you will see the campaign you are assigned to. Click “Send All First Texts” - and all the numbers assigned to you will receive a first text blast.
4. After a few minutes, hit “Refresh”, and you will start to receive responses to your texts - this is the best part of SPOKE! Click on “Send Replies” t o start interacting with the people who texted you back.
5. Your initial text asked them a question, make sure to log their reply using the “Current Question” drop down to record their answer. This will queue up an auto-response that you can send them. Feel free to edit! **Note: if you don’t use the queued up response, you can edit it, but it’s important to log their response with the “Current question” drop down either way. We are tracking their answers to our questions for future communications:
6. If someone asks “how did you get my number”? T here is a “canned response” ready to respond. Just click on the CANNED RESPONSE button to locate response. 7. If someone asks to not be contacted again, click the orange Opt Out button. A few more tips: -
Most responses will come in right away, but some will trickle in over the next few hours. Make sure to check your SPOKE account again in a few hours to reply to any other texters!

Use your best judgement! If someone responds, or asks a question that is beyond the queued up responses, do your best to answer.
