REP. CINDY HOLSCHER ENDORSES SHARICE DAVIDS IN KS-03 DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Sharice Davids, Democratic candidate in the Kansas Third Congressional District, has received the endorsement of Kansas State Rep. Cindy Holscher (DDistrict 16). Since her election to the State House in 2016, Democratic Rep. Holscher has been a staunch advocate for Kansas families and played a key role in beginning to reverse the devastating effects of the Sam Brownback administration. She says Davids will be a strong partner at the federal level. “Sharice understands the struggles of regular Kansans, because she has lived them,” Holscher said. “As a strong, principled individual, you can count on her to be there for the people of Kansas.” Rep. Holscher’s full statement is below: “Sharice has what it takes to win. It is not often that you find someone with intense drive and intellect, along with the ability to relate to people. And, she is passionate about the needs of this state and our country. She understands the struggles of regular Kansans, because she has lived them. As an attorney with previous experience in Washington, she is equipped to handle what the opposition sends her way, and has the even-keeled temperament needed to succeed. As a strong, principled individual, you can count on her to be there for the people of Kansas and not corporate interest. I ask you to join me in voting for Sharice Davids.” Davids primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 7. ### About Sharice Davids: A proud Kansan, Sharice Davids was raised by a single mom. After graduating from Johnson County Community College, she earned an Ivy League law degree from Cornell. She went on to work for President Barack Obama as a White House Fellow. Sharice has focused her career on bringing equality to underserved communities and providing more opportunities to help middle-class families get ahead. She’ll work to expand access to affordable health care, strengthen our public schools, make college more affordable and invest in our infrastructure to create more good-paying jobs.
