The Writing Centre Writing Workshops Writing in University: What Do I Need to Know? Come to this hands-on workshop to learn proven strategies for making the transition to university-level writing. Whatever your major, this workshop offers a relaxed environment where you can practice techniques useful for all types of writing, from lab reports to research papers. Date: Tuesday, September 20 Time: 6pm - 7:30pm Location: H070, Hoyme Polishing Your Writing What does it take to make your writing memorable to professors and peers? This workshop, which focuses on using language effectively and avoiding common mistakes, will provide you with simple techniques for making your writing stand out.
