MEASURING WELLBEING IN NORTHERN IRELAND: ROUNDTABLE 4 Wednesday 10th December 2014, Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate, Belfast
The fourth Carnegie Roundtable on Measuring Wellbeing in Northern Ireland was kindly hosted by the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister. Members studied a draft of the Roundtable’s report in detail. The report will be a relatively succinct document backed up by a longer and more detailed technical report. Both documents will be published in March 2015. Members also discussed an advocacy plan for the period following the launch and were particularly keen to ensure that the period up to the next Programme for Government in May 2016 is used to disseminate and embed the recommendations of the report. The Roundtable envisages this as including active engagement with politicians, the public sector, civil society, business and the media.
