We know that it is sometimes too difficult to join us during our in-service trainings here in the CASA office, so to make it a bit easier I will be posting more and more podcasts and webinars available at your convenience. You can also go to the website and look for yourselves, when you have some time on your hands. Always, email me, Holly at
[email protected], to let me know which one you listened to, the length, and write a few sentences about the information you learned or what was most touching. Then I will give you credit. The first website is the National CASA’s website. It is www.casaforchildren.org. When you enter the website click on News and Events tab at the top. Next, click on Podcasts on the left side column. Then click on the podcast of your choice and press the play button. Make sure your speakers are on and not muted.

Don’t forget: June time sheets are absolutely due by July 2!
The second is to go to the University of Minnesota’s website at www.cehd.umn.edu/ SSW/CASCW. On the right hand side there is a blue box labeled “Quick Links,” in that box click on the 2nd one down labeled “Online Modules.” Then you can choose any of the many online learning modules. I used some of these, they are very good. The last option is to go to the National Children’s Advocacy Center website at wwwnationalcac.org. Next, click on training and conferences at the very top of the page. Then go to “Online Training,” and click on “Webinars.” You can choose one or more of your choice.
