Liturgy of the Word with Children: Sundays, 9:30am Mass. This program is for young parishioners ages 4-10 years old. The children will process as a group to the hall after the opening hymn. Young Singers are Welcome! If your child would like to join the Youth Choir, grades 3-6 or the Chamber Choir, grades 7-12, please contact Annemarie Parente-Manion at
[email protected]. Choir practice is on Thursdays: 4-5pm (Youth Choir) and 5-6pm (Chamber Choir) in the parish hall. The choirs sing on alternating Sundays at the 9:30am Mass. Father, you revealed your Son to the nations by the guidance of a star. Lead us to your glory in heaven by the light of faith. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
PARISH ADMINISTRATION 2019 Offertory Envelopes – We mailed out the 2019 Offertory Envelopes in December. If you have not received yours yet, please place your donation in any envelope labelled with your name and address. Please make an effort to write the amount of your donation on your envelope. This small step saves a great deal of time for the volunteer teams who process our weekly collections. If you do not have envelopes, but wish to begin using them, please visit the parish office. Pre-Authorized Giving – The PAG program allows parishioners to request that a monthly total be transferred from their bank account to OLS Parish on the 20th of each month to cover weekly offertory (and special collections, if desired). If you would like to participate in this program, go to www.sorrows.ca to download the forms.
The 2019 offering envelopes have been revised to allow parishioners the same flexibility as those who use PAG. “Other donations” can include any of the special collections taken up at Masses throughout the year. Parish Registration – If you attend OLS parish regularly, please ensure that you are registered with the parish office. (Young adults who have completed their education should be registered as individuals.) Please also inform your previous parish that you have moved so they can remove you from their active records.
