Race Description This is an Eliminator-style cyclo-cross race. ● Each group begins with a mass start non-elimination Seed Round of one short, technical lap (max 10 minutes) to determine placement for the first Elimination Round. ● In the Elimination Rounds, heats of eight racers complete the same lap. The top four finishers move to the next round, while the bottom four are eliminated from competition and entered into Consolation Round. ● In the Championship Round, the final eight racers will complete the lap with the top three racers earning podium spots. Consolation Round will take place prior to earn bragging rights. ● All Men’s Seed Rounds will start at 9:00 a.m. Group A heats will go first, followed by Group B upon completion of Group A, and concluding with Group C upon the completion of Group C. Consolation and Championship Finals for each Group will take place upon the completion of the Group C Seed Round. ● Group A is appropriate for USAC categories 1/2/3, Group B for categories 3/4 and Group C for categories 4/5/novice. Every rider will race at minimum two races. Course Description A short, technical course that may include grass, dirt, mud, pavement, and/or gravel. There will be technical flow section, short hill climbs, singletrack, and straightaways. Barriers and other hazards to be placed as needed, in accordance with USA Cycling regulations. Registration Online registration is available through BikeReg (https://www.bikereg.com/cx-eliminator). Early registration through, Wednesday, September 26 at 5pm CST. $15 plus any fees. $25 plus fees thereafter. Race-day registration will be available on-site. Registration opens at 8:00 and closes 15 minutes before the listed Start Time for each Category. Your registration is for all races in your Category. As long as you keep winning, you keep racing. All racers must present a valid USA Cycling license at registration. Cat 5 men and Cat 5 women may purchase a oneday license for $10. Annual licenses will be available for $70, $35 for Juniors. All participants are required to sign a participation waiver, with parental or guardian endorsement required for racers under 18.
