Waste Management of Texas is proud to announce new, automated recycling collection services for Fort Bend Co. MUD 142 beginning December 5, 2018! Please follow the cart placement instructions below. Have carts and bulk items at the curb by 7:00 AM on your service day. PLACE ALL RECYCLING INSIDE THE GREEN CART WITH THE YELLOW LID. Recyclables should be loose in the cart and not bagged. Trucks will not service additional recyclables outside the cart. Do not overfill the recycling cart. Securely close the lid. Place recycling cart 5 feet from any obstructions, such as vehicles, mailboxes, meter boxes, cable boxes, or trees - and within 1 foot of the curb. Do not place the cart on an incline or slanted area. Do not obstruct the collection of carts by parking vehicles in the vicinity. Keep area clear for easy access by collection truck. Space regular waste, bulk items and the recycle cart 2 - 3 feet apart. Recycling collection is weekly, on Wednesday.
