As the Executive Assistant to SureHire’s founder, and current President &CEO, you will provide proactive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. Role Details The Executive Assistant provides key support to the President & CEO of SureHire Occupational Testing while also supporting the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate possesses a high standard of work and professionalism while meeting various demands in a fast paced work environment. In this position, you will be working on executive level projects and must therefore be able to ensure confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact at all times. As the ideal individual, you will have great business communication skills, particularly written, as you are the first point of contact for many projects and daily functions. Furthermore, SureHire is a growing company and we are continually seeking ways to improve our operations. The ideal candidate must be technologically inclined and adaptable as SureHire explores and adopts new programs, softwares and technologies. As the Executive Assistant you will work primarily out of SureHire’s Corporate Office, Edmonton International Airport offices. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation as public transit is infrequent and you will occasionally be asked to run errands for the Executive Team. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Compensation for this role is based on education and previous experience. Participation in the Group Benefits plan is available.
Responsibilities
Manage the President & CEO’s calendar Scheduling and preparation for meetings, including; prepare and print materials, host guests, arrange conference calls, confirmation, book venue and organize equipment, food and beverages Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings and take minutes that deal with highly sensitive and confidential information. Track and process expenses, reconcile and submit monthly credit cards statements Management of personal requirements of the President with regard to a wide variety of business and non-business related tasks Management of incoming and outgoing mail Direct and prioritize daily calls and requests to President & CEO
Prepare, gather, and relay confidential information on a regular basis Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, cars rentals) Management of office records, maintain filing system Compile weekly/monthly/yearly statistical reports on variety of projects Initiate, prepare, and proofread a variety of sensitive correspondence Effectively coordinate staff and corporate events/functions, and seminars o Preparing necessary marketing materials, invitations, venue bookings, and all necessary preparation Organize and assist in special events and projects related to supported charities, donation requests

Education The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in a related field. Office Administration certificate or diploma is considered a strong asset. Alternatively, candidates may have an acceptable combination of education and work experience that demonstrates progressive responsibility and ability. Experience 2 or more years of direct work experience in an administrative or executive assistant role is required.
