Kansas City Partner Mark Stingley will co-chair the 34th Annual Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute in Kansas City, Mo. speaking. Wickouski will discuss the effectiveness of social media in growing one’s practice. In her commentary, Wickouski will draw on her personal experiences with social media. Since 2011, she has maintained a bankruptcy and corporate restructuring blog. She is also the author of Bankruptcy Crimes, an authoritative resource on bankruptcy fraud now in its third edition. The conference also will include insight from 13 regional bankruptcy judges as well as other

lawyers and educators in debates and sessions covering common mistakes made in consumer practice; the ethical pitfalls of a solo practice or small firm; and the representation of creditors in New York and Delaware. Attendees are able to customize their experience by following either the business or consumer track. They also have the option to attend an extra day of sessions devoted to professional development, a feature that has been added to this year’s conference. During the professional development workshop, Daghbandan will join a panel of young lawyers and financial professionals who will address the relationship between senior and junior lawyers.
