Please know that the dancers will have practice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00am to 7:30am. Cheerleaders will have their last practice of the year on Thursday from 3:45-‐6pm on the stage.
May 5
Checkers club will have their last practice this Thursday from 7:30 to 8:00am in the computer lab.
May 6
Jump Rope for Heart finale. Our school goal is $3500. If we can reach our goal, Mrs. Leimann will kiss a pig.
May 7
We will have basketball camp for 4 th & 5 grade students. Boys will practice from 8:00-‐10:30am and girls from 11:00 – 1:30pm.

Dear Parents, nd The Art Dept. will be hosting our 2 Annual Chalk Art Festival on Friday, th May 6 for all Elementary thru High School students. We are asking for all students to bring their sidewalk chalk no later than Friday morning to be able to participate. Prizes will be given to the winners. Please know that grade level field trips have started. If you are interested in volunteering to chaperon in your son/daughter’s field trip, a background authorization form must be cleared prior to attending the field trip. st Please know that background authorizations m ay take 5-‐10 business days. 1 th grade will be going on their field trip to Sea Turtle Inc. on Wednesday, May 4 . Please be sure to turn in all permission slips to your teacher. Elementary yearbook sales have been extended 1 more week. Price per yearbook is $25 and m oney may be turned in to your homeroom teacher. Don’t be left without one!!! Please know that we will begin STAAR testing next week again. We do ask that students be at school on time in order to get a good breakfast. We ask that you send your child with their lunch on their testing days, as we will not be having lunch deliveries in order to maintain a stable testing environment. It is the responsibility of the parent to keep current on their child’s account. Charging will not be allowed. Extra Curricular Activities Speed Racers will continue to have practice Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays in the gym from 7:30-‐8:00am. Please know that we have jumpstarted our Jump Rope for Heart.
