Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! I hope your holidays were great! I wished for a white Christmas so you can blame me for all the snow. Now that the holidays are over I can get back to my other job – Stampede. We had a great turnout for the Christmas party at Island Grove. Plenty of food - I guess I should ask more questions when planning for 275 people. So if anyone left hungry that was their own fault. I would like to thank my board for all they did in getting this event accomplished and for going out and getting the giveaways. I also want to thank the committee for their contributions to the party – giveaways, the pork and chicken, Jerod Lichtenberg for smoking the chicken and pork. We had enough giveaways for every Wrangler who attended. I especially thank the community for all their support and contributions this past year. As most of you know, Jerod Lichtenberg is our Top Hand for 2014. Congratulations Jerod. I would like to congratulate and thank all the nominees this year for their hard work and dedication. If you haven’t sent in your dues yet, you still have time. Regretfully there will be a penalty for them being late. I hope everyone understands why we do this. It’s because we are trying to encourage members to get there dues in early so we have plenty of time to process the necessary paperwork. The last day to pay dues is March 7, 2015. January we will have our annual soup/chili cook-off. There will be a prize for the best soup and best chili. So bring in your best recipe. Please have your dish there by 6:30 if possible. Also during this meeting, Julie Reinert from the Stampede office will be setting up a booth of the past items they have sold at the Stampede. They are updating their merchandise so they want to reduce their old inventory at a huge discount. So bring some cash and get some great items from the Stampede. February we will have signup night. Please try to make this meeting so we can start planning for 2015. March 1, 2015 is the final day for Scholarship applications. We will have applications at the January Membership meeting and signup day in February. Please keep Dick Davis in our thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery. Also Danny Lynn that he may keep improving. See you at the meetings. Ruth Walter President The Wranglers, Inc. P.O. Box 1461, Greeley, CO 80631

2014 TOP HAND AWARD! Hello Wrangler family! Here we are at the cusp of a New Year again. We should be thankful for so many great things that have happened in 2014 and we remember the personal losses we endured as well. I am certain that we will find many wonderful things to be discovered in 2015. Without a doubt, we will have our work cut out for us to produce another successful Greeley Stampede. Carrying 93 years of tradition makes for a large shoe to fill!
There has already been a tremendous amount of work done in order to get us this far and we have a lot left to do tidily in the 3/7 - Final day to sign up remaining blanks for the event. I know that John has done a & pay dues with late fees, great job of sourcing concerts for the event and I think things (Returning Wranglers) 1-3 are shaping up very nicely for 2015. We look forward to commup.m. Bunkhouse /Stamnicating more of that to you on January 26 at Zoe's café in pede Office Greeley when we will announce the rest of the night show lineup.
