Dear Interested Participant: Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the New Mexico State Fair. Below is an application you must complete to formalize that interest. Each booth or space you request requires a separate application. Each application must be accompanied by the required $25 application fee or $50 application fee if submitted after April 1st. The Fair does not accept personal or business checks. Payment in the form of a bank check or money order may be made payable to the New Mexico State Fair. Also Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover are accepted; however, they will incur a 3% convenience fee. Applications need to be complete in order to make a thorough evaluation, we therefore ask that you be diligent as you fill out the attached form. The selection process is very competitive, so be sure to provide us with photos of your booth presentation and product or service. All applications will receive consideration based upon the criteria listed below. Please submit your application ASAP as the vendor selection process for the 2018 State Fair will begin in April. Among several other factors, selection is based on: • • • • •
Experience at other fairs or shows Booth presentation and appearance Product balance on the fairgrounds Space availability and nature of accommodation Uniqueness and appeal of product or service

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: firearms, knives, swords, mace, martial art items, fireworks, drug related merchandise or paraphernalia, pornographic materials, offensive wording or graphics, counterfeit or “knock-off” items. Coca-Cola is the official soft drink, sports drink, bottled water provider of the New Mexico State Fair. No other soft drink, sports drink, bottled water may be sold or advertised. Drink supplies for your concession must be purchased from the on-site commissary. Our yearly surveys show that the fair going public finds large food servings sizes with large price tags undesirable. The New Mexico State Fair is asking food vendors to consider the aforementioned when providing the below proposed menu and pricing. Please offer smaller food sizes with lower prices.
