A health savings account helps you set aside money for current and future qualified health care expenses that aren’t You covered by your medical plan. You may contribute pre-tax funds through payroll deductions when enrolling in a HSA account through UMB. You must be covered by the University's High Deductible Health Plan. The 2015 HSA maximum contribution amounts are: $3,350 - individual; $6,650 - family; age 55 or older can contribute an additional $1,000 "catch-up" contribution. Rockhurst offers two dental plans - the Rockhurst PPO dental Plan, which utilizes the PPO USA Dental network Who Pays and a DHMO dental plan through Assurant. Rockhurst offers a Flexible Benefits Plan through BMO Benefit Services and approved under Section 125 of the Who Pays Internal Revenue Code. Allows you to pay with pre-tax dollars for qualified health care expenses that are not covered by insurance. For a You complete list of eligible expenses, go to http://www.bmo.com/bmoflex. You may elect to contribute up to $2,550 annually. If you elect to participate in this Healthcare Account then you may NOT enroll in the HSA. This account is specifically designed for use with a HSA and allows you to pay with pre-tax dollars for qualified health You care expenses related to dental and vision care only. Note that you may also pay for these expenses with your HSA. You may elect to contribute up to $2,550 annually. Allows parents who pay for day care of a dependent under the age 13 (or other eligible dependents who are physically You or mentally incapable of taking care of themselves) to pay for those expenses with pre-tax dollars. Rockhurst University Retirement Savings Plan
Optional Benefit
Rockhurst provides a 403(b) plan to which both you and the University contribute. A 403(b) plan allows you to save for retirement with tax benefits. TIAA-CREF is the trustee and recordkeeper. The Plan offers a diverse menu of mutual funds and a suite of target-date retirement funds from which you may choose. Your contributions and the University’s contributions are always fully vested.

All employees who normally work 20 hours or more per week (excluding students) are immediately eligible to defer You on a pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax basis. Pre-tax benefits will be tax deferred until distribution, Roth after-tax qualified withdrawals will be received tax-free. The maximum contribution amount for 2015 is $18,000. Participants age 50+ may contribute a catch-up contribution up to $6,000. Rockhurst will match 120% of the first 5% of your contributions. Basic Life and AD&D Plan Voluntary Life Plan
Automatic Your Term Life and AD&D coverage is equal to one times annual salary up to $100,000. Coverage amounts begin reducing at age 65. You Elect You have the option to purchase additional Term Life coverage for yourself and your eligible family members. No medical approval is required for an initial amount of $120,000 (or 5 times salary, whichever is less) for you, $50,000 for spouse and $10,000 for children, if you elect coverage when first eligible. You may purchase additional amounts, subject to underwriting approval. Rates are based on age. Disability and Income Core Benefit Rockhurst offers disability plans through CIGNA which can help replace a portion of your salary in the event of a Protection Plan covered sickness or off-the job accident.
