Those standards require that I plan and perform an audit to obtain reasonable assurance whether the financial statements are free from material misstatement. Nature and Length of Campaign Activities These financial statements represent the campaign activities for the candidate Brenda Johnson in her bid to run for run for city Councilor in the City of Hamilton, Ward 11, for the October, 2014 municipal election. The period covered is from the day the candidate filed her nomination which was January 14, 2014, to the date of cessation of the campaign up to December 31, 2014.

Specified Maximum Amount of Campaign Expenses The specified maximum amount of campaign expenses for the office of Councilor for
Ward 11 is $29,193 as designated by the Clerk Designate, and in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, S. 76(7).

Recognition of Contributions The campaign recognizes contributions actually received during the campaign. Contributions in kind are recognized for services rendered based on the market value That would be charged for such services.
