Movie Trailer Project & Rubric
Objectives: The Objective of this assignment is for students to demonstrate mastery in phases of video production (preproduction, production, postproduction) by producing a 60120 second movie trailer video. NOTE: A movie trailer usually has lots of quick shots with dialogue to build excitement and leave the audience on edge. Keep this tip in mind while planning, shooting and editing your video. Students will create a storyboard and script (if
applicable) for the video. Students will film their own video clips, download the clips to their computers and import them to Adobe Premiere Elements. Using Premiere video editing software students will learn how to create video projects, edit video, add audio, transitions, and render a finalized movie video in this application.
