Human Resources Business Partner Summary: Responsible to formulate partnerships across the HR team to deliver value added HR services to employees and leadership that reflect the Tauck’s Company culture and business objectives. Supports domestic and international human resources initiatives including; employee relations and employment law, recruitment and sourcing, training and development, career development and succession planning, compensation and performance management, employee engagement and diversity. Serves as a consultant to leadership on human resources related issues, and acts as an employee champion and change agent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partners with HR team, employees and leadership to communicate HR policies, guidelines, laws, standards and government regulations. Develops, recommends, implements personnel policies and guidelines, and maintains employee handbook. Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and leadership performance management guidance and evaluation process. Facilitates annual update of compensation program(s), job summaries, salary surveys, and pay changes. Conducts recruitment effort for exempt/nonexempt employees, interns and temporary employees, conducts new employee orientation and exit interviews. Execute training and development solutions aligned with the business strategy to include sourcing vendors/consultants, content development and facilitation, and monitoring of success. Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, career development, succession planning, and mentoring. Facilitate annual employee engagement survey, departmental/Company debriefs, and prioritization and implementation of action plans. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs. Compiles and analyzes various complex and confidential HR reports. Assist with Company event planning and Company culture events. Represents Tauck at outside professional events. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree + 7 years HR generalist experience and SHRM certification Team player with outstanding collaborative skills Proven knowledge of HR strategies and processes with great customer service skills Demonstrated ability to lead projects Strong analytical skills Proficient with MS Office Suite and Social Media Strong verbal and written skills to represent the Tauck brand Able to manage/measure work, understand ROI
