THE ROLE The operations Co-ordinator will be responsible to the Gloucester Rugby Operations Manager to co-ordinate operational issues. The role is based at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester. The appointee may be required to travel to Gloucester Rugby Training Ground The role is responsible for supporting the management of match day operations and the day to day running of the Operations Department. A key function will be to ensure co-ordination between internal departments and external agencies. A key role is to ensure a co-ordinated approach to planned events which delivers a high level of operational and commercial service delivery to Gloucester Rugby and to the public
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES A. Co-ordinating agreed aspects of match day planning and events (Concert) planning B. Managing Match day or event car parking, which includes both the internal main car park and external parking areas hired from other companies C. Implementing GR health and safety policy D. Checking and Collating match day/event operational planning documentation. Completion of the Match day running order E. Management of Secondary Games/events e.g. Premier Rugby Shield games F. Overseeing agreed match/event specific operational projects e.g. ensuring activities occur to a timed running order and co-ordinated with match control G. Collecting and collating evidence for the RFU minimum standards Criteria. H. Compiling Safety Inspection and Facility registers and preparing documents for the County Council Safety Advisory Group Inspection. I. Completing spreadsheets and bookings for all operational contractors in line with their contracts. Supporting and Operations Manager and Stadium Manager with agreed tasks and projects
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS The following experiences, skills and qualifications are desirable: A. Good Interpersonal Skills and relationship management B. Experience in a similar role within a high profile venue or organisation C. An understanding and experience of health and Safety management, ideally IOSH trained D. Exceptional IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint This is not an exhaustive list of duties and other may be added in line with the management of the role
