Question: What is the Proofpoint Digest Email? Answer: The Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway enforces anti-spam, anti-virus, and content policies for our organization’s email accounts. All incoming email is inspected by the Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway as soon as it arrives at our organization. Messages that contain a virus, spam, or inappropriate content are sent to your personal Spam Quarantine. An email from Proofpoint notifies you of what is in your personal Spam Quarantine. This briefly explains what you'll see on the Proofpoint Digest email: Request New End User Digest This will send a new summary digest showing all current messages in the quarantine. Request Safe/Blocked Senders List This will send an email summary of your current safe/blocked list Manage My Account This will take you to the account management interface on the ProofPoint server. Future messages from this sender will not be quarantined. Not Spam This reports to the system administrators that the message was not spam. Proofpoint will update its scanning engine about the message characteristics and it will not be quarantined in the future. Score This represents the score for that individual message. Higher scores represent a higher likelihood of the message being spam. A spam score of 100 is automatically discarded and not delivered to quarantine View and Manage your Proofpoint Digest: Visit https://ppsrv.wsdk8.us:10020/ and login with your WSD email address and WSD password.
