In addition, Blick Art Supplies has generously donated to each of the 3,000 participating schools a lesson plan booklet and two sets of Winsor & Newton ProMarkers that our students are free to use. The ProMarkers are not a requirement in our design; they are a gift so each school has basic materials for their design to support their #RightToArt. Middle school art will be working in groups to complete a large Trompe L’oeil drawing. Trompe L’oeil means “to deceive the eye”. Students will work together in groups, follow a rubric, and create depth/perspective in their work. The goal is to give the viewer the illusion that they can walk into the artwork although it is twodimensional.
