Our Elite Panther Drumline will represent RYSS with the intent of continuing our efforts to bridge the Cultural/Ethnic divides by promoting community awareness through the universal language of music. Ermin Alvarado (Class ‘16) says “preparing for this parade has developed the qualities Dr. King would want us to have, like discipline and high self esteem.” The University Interscholastic League (UIL) provides opportunity for our music students to challenge themselves in
Lady Pantherettes
Solo and Ensemble events. Students will perform a prescribed piece of music by themselves or in a group while Mr. De La Garza plays the piano accompaniment. The following students will participate in Vocal, Band and Percussion contest in Katy ISD: Maria Guzman (‘16), Hugo Irene (‘16), Ermin Alvarado (‘16), Samuel
