Important Reminders from the Nurse Eating Right: Students must eat a well-balanced diet. Several students come to the nurse daily with complaints of feeling any and/or all of these symptoms: headache, Lightheaded/dizzy, nausea, and fatigue. More often than not these symptoms are from the student skipping breakfast and/or lunch. Breakfast and Lunch are served daily at HCSS for all students. Students can view the menu ahead of time in the cafeteria or on the Springfield Public Schools website for Middle School http://www.springfieldpublicschools.com/lunch-menus If your student does not like the options, please send lunch from home. Our brains and bodies need healthy foods to fuel us so we can thrive physically, emotionally, and educationally.
