Dear Waena Families, Welcome back! School Year 2015-2016 is filled with great optimism! Our theme for the year is "Productive Perseverance" to be a Quality Producer emphasizing General Outcome # 4. We are encouraging this to acknowledge that great things can be accomplished when focus and dedication is attached to our character. Every one of us has a unique gift to share so it is vital that we "keep at it" when trials come before us. WE here at Mililani Waena are committed to collaborating with our students and all of you in this TRRFCC: Trustw orthy, Respectful, Responsible, Fair, Caring, and Citizenship character developing quest!

4 Steps to Problem-Solving
Homew ork
For grades K and 1, students take home their HAT (Homework Assignment Tablet). For grades 2 – 5, students write homework in their planner. For all students, parents can go to www.milialniwaeana.org to view homework online via the teacher’s class page and subscribe for emailed homework alerts.
We promote character building and encourage students to select appropriate ways to resolve issues that arise. We encourage you to help reinforce our 4 Steps to Problem Solving. Step 1 – Be Sure You Are Following the Rules.
